I'm Latin American, and maybe the main reason I liked the 3rd more than the 4th (I SAID IT OKAY) is because it's in latin spanish. The Shrek movies are some of the few I just CAN'T watch in original English. The voice actors make them unique, and adapt the jokes so it appeals more to the public. Comparing them to the original, the latin american dub looks (sounds) thoroughly different. If you can, give it a chance in latin american spanish!!

You should do a Stanley Kubrick filmography ranking next, i feel that would be interesting and unique. Possibly because I'm curious what your opinions on some of his movies would be.

This is the first Oscars I watched live because my aunt had the ABC subscription and I forced her to turn it on while over. I don't regret it because holy shit, it was the first time I didn't pity laugh. I liked answering my aunt's questions cuz she luckily has a film student for a niece, and my 5 year old cousin was extremely interested until it was bedtime.

Every single time i watch it again i just get sooo blown away, its incredible. The best part is watching it with new people who havent seen it before, and talking about it afterwards. I will die on the hill that The Prestige is Nolan's best film, its just SO good and expertly crafted and i eat it up every time

Just watched both of these films tonight. “Hundreds of Beavers” was amazing and is easily one of my new favorite movies. Cannot recommend enough. In a way it felt like the movie I expected “Buffalo Rider” to be based on the Guy on a Buffalo UA-cam clips. I didn’t like “Lake Michigan Monster” as much, but the last 15 minutes were absolutely insane and I loved it. The twist with the monster at the end was hilarious.

I just saw it it’s okay the animation looks choppy and the villain song didn’t really feel like a song the villain is decent the theme contradicts itself I will admit I did like the star and Asha and the goat is enjoying for me but it’s missing something and Asha seems a bit to like over the top personality if your watching to be watching it 5/10 but to celebrate Disney 3.5/10 what’s worse my and my mom we thinks it’s missing something to be honest wish upon a studio does a much better job.

Tbf, if Po feels like he stopped growing as a character that's because he did. He already peaked, hell, he peaked at the end of 2 and then stretched the fuck out of his prowess as a martial artist in 3. There is no more room for Po to grow, his character had already accomplished everything there was to accomplish, 4 has no reason to focus on him anymore and yet they still do.

One of the complains you bring about the show is that most of the episodes are about Megamind causing a problem and then solving it. But keep in mind that the movie, the ORIGINAL movie, is basically that, Megamind makes a problem (empowers, trains and even provokes Titan) and has to deal with the consequences of that. Even The Button of Doom is also Megamind demonstrating he is his worst enemy as he has to fight his own creation (due to his inept organizational skills).

My theory is that Mirabel didn't have a gift because The Miracle(?) needed someone that made the Madrigal family realize that they are NOT their gifts. It took a bit and a lot of pain, but seems to have worked.

Kinda late But I didn't saw Roxanne and megamind as a couple at the end of the only megamind movie there is, I thought thwye ended as close friends, maybe with romance potential but not at that stage

Two years after this review I still cannot get over this movie, literally one of the best I've ever seen. Specifically the scene where the news reporter says "you have a bright future ahead of you" and he just looks at Lucille, Bud, and young Franny with the biggest smile and says "Yeah." Because he's already seen what that future will be and he's looking forward to it. OML thats when the waterworks started, I love Meet the Robinsons with my whole heart.
